All right, Brad - you get the award for Most Comprehensive State Fair Food-Related Blog Post. I need a TUMS after reading of your adventures in fried food :)

Great coverage and calorie intake. Also fab pictures. Thanks for sharing. The info I mean.

Donna

Brad, I found the chicken fried bacon to be unpleasantly dry, like dog biscuits. Clearly you fared better. Great report!

While agree that gravy would be the way to go, everyone in my group - as well as those we waited in line with - happily scarfed 'em right down!

michelle

(yeah, going on the last saturday. not the best timing, but the only day we could all make it. wish me LUCK!)

About

  • Hey, Brad Murano here - I am addicted to crazy good food and all that is associated with its preparation, presentation, and consumption. I'm based in Dallas, but eat wherever necessary.
Rather than traditional criticism, I will feature dining topics and destinations that interest me, as well as my "in-the-moment" food photography. I spend my discretionary income on food and drink, and once in a while I get comped.
If you don't see this symbol: , it was paid for with Cold Hard Cash, and that's that.
    I also do other stuff...
